Terms and Conditions  −  Peggy & Molly Animated Series Official Teaser Launch

1. Acceptance and application
These Terms form an agreement between the Organiser and each registrant and attendee. They also apply to guests registered by another person and to parents, guardians and accompanying adults.

(a) By registering another person, you confirm that you have their authority to provide their details and accept these Terms on their behalf, or, for a minor, that you are authorised to do so as their parent or legal guardian.

(b) If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not register for or attend the Event.

2. Registration and admission
(a) Registration is subject to availability, venue capacity, age requirements, security requirements and any conditions stated on the registration page or invitation.

(b) A registration is not transferable unless the Organiser approves the change in writing. The Organiser may request identification or registration confirmation before entry.

(c) The Organiser may cancel duplicate, incomplete, misleading, fraudulent or unauthorised registrations, or registrations made using automated methods.

(d) Admission may be refused or revoked where reasonably necessary for safety, security, venue compliance, capacity management or a breach of these Terms.

(e) Unless stated otherwise, registration does not include travel, accommodation, parking, meals, drinks or other personal expenses.

3. Children and young people
(a) A person under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. The Organiser may require minors to remain with a responsible adult for the duration of the Event.

(b) The accompanying adult is responsible for the supervision, conduct, safety and wellbeing of each minor in their care.

(c) A parent or legal guardian must provide any consent required for the collection of a minor’s information and for photography or filming involving an identifiable minor.

4. Event changes, postponement and cancellation
(a) The Organiser may reasonably change the program, speakers, cast appearances, running order, session times, venue layout, capacity, entry procedures or other Event details.

(b) The Event may be postponed, relocated or cancelled because of circumstances including illness, venue unavailability, severe weather, public health concerns, government directions, safety issues, technical failure or other circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control.

(c) The Organiser will use reasonable efforts to notify registered persons of material changes using the contact details supplied at registration.

(d) Where a fee has been paid, refunds or other remedies will be provided where required by the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Conduct, safety and venue requirements
(a) Attendees must follow all reasonable directions of the Organiser, venue staff, security personnel and emergency services, and comply with venue rules and applicable laws.

(b) Harassment, discrimination, bullying, threatening behaviour, violence, unsafe conduct, excessive intoxication, illegal substances, weapons and deliberate disruption are prohibited.

(c) The Organiser may remove or refuse entry to a person whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, abusive or inconsistent with these Terms. Where permitted by law, no refund will be due where removal results from that person’s conduct.

(d) Attendees must immediately report hazards, injuries, lost children, security concerns or emergencies to Event staff.

6. Health, accessibility and assistance
(a) Attendees are responsible for assessing whether they can safely attend and participate. Any urgent medical condition or emergency should be reported immediately to Event staff or emergency services.

(b) Requests for accessibility adjustments, dietary requirements or other assistance should be made as early as possible. The Organiser will take reasonable steps to assist but cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated.

(c) Where personal or health information is provided for accessibility, dietary or safety purposes, it will be handled only for the relevant purpose and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

Media, Content and Privacy

7. Photography, filming and media consent
(a) The Event may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed or audio recorded by or for the Organiser, media organisations, sponsors, venue operators or authorised production partners.

(b) By attending, you consent to being incidentally photographed or recorded in crowd, background and general Event footage, and to the Organiser using that material worldwide, in any media, for Event documentation, publicity, promotion, editorial use, social media and promotion of the Peggy & Molly Animated Series and Bigtoon Animation, without further approval or payment.

(c) The Organiser will seek additional consent before using an attendee as the principal subject of a staged interview, testimonial or dedicated promotional feature, particularly where the attendee is a minor.

(d) An attendee who does not wish to appear in identifiable close-up footage should notify Event staff on arrival. The Organiser will take reasonable steps to assist, but cannot guarantee exclusion from incidental crowd or background imagery.

8. Recording restrictions and intellectual property
(a) All intellectual property in the Peggy & Molly Animated Series, teaser, characters, scripts, artwork, music, presentations, branding and Event materials remains the property of the relevant rights holders.

(b) Personal photography in permitted public areas is allowed only where it does not disrupt the Event, infringe another person’s privacy, breach venue rules or involve restricted content.

9. Personal information and the internal database
Database record. By registering, you acknowledge and agree that the Organiser will create or update a record for you, and for any attendee whose details you provide, in its internal Peggy & Molly and Bigtoon Animation event database. This applies to all registered persons, including people who register but do not ultimately attend.

Information collected. The database may include names, contact details, registration details, ticket or guest category, attendance status, communication history, preferences, survey responses, accessibility requests and other information voluntarily provided in connection with the Event.

Purposes. The Organiser may use that information to process and verify registrations; manage admission, waitlists, capacity and security; communicate Event updates; administer accessibility and safety arrangements; maintain attendance and engagement records; respond to enquiries; prevent misuse; conduct post-Event evaluation; and comply with legal obligations.

Required information. Where information is marked as required, it is needed to process or administer the registration. If it is not provided, the Organiser may be unable to confirm registration or admission.

Guests. A person registering a guest must have permission to provide the guest’s personal information and must make these Terms and the Privacy Collection Notice available to that guest.

Disclosure. Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to the Event venue, registration and ticketing providers, email and database providers, security and production contractors, professional advisers, insurers, emergency services, government authorities and other service providers supporting the Event. The Organiser will not sell or rent the database to unrelated third parties.

Security and retention. The Organiser will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information will be retained only for as long as reasonably required for the stated purposes, legal requirements and legitimate business records.

Access, correction and privacy requests. A person may request access to or correction of their information, withdraw optional marketing consent, or raise a privacy concern by contacting info@peggyandmolly.tv. Identity verification may be required before a request is actioned.

10. Event messages and optional direct marketing
(a) Registered persons may receive essential administrative messages about confirmation, entry, changes, safety, postponement, cancellation, surveys and other matters directly connected with the Event. These messages are not dependent on optional marketing consent.

(b) News, future event invitations, production updates, competitions, merchandise information and promotional offers will be sent by email or SMS only where the person has provided the required consent or where otherwise permitted by law.

(c) Marketing consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time by using the unsubscribe facility in a message or by contacting info@peggyandmolly.tv. Withdrawing marketing consent does not cancel a registration or prevent essential Event communications.

11. Surveys, competitions and promotions
(a) Participation in surveys, competitions, giveaways, photo opportunities and promotional activities is voluntary and may be subject to separate terms.

(b) Personal information collected for those activities will be used for the stated purpose and any additional use clearly disclosed at the time.

General Legal Conditions

12. Personal property and travel arrangements
(a) Attendees are responsible for their own belongings, transport, parking, accommodation and personal arrangements.

(b) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless caused by the Organiser’s negligence or breach of a non-excludable legal obligation.

(c) Lost property may be transferred to the venue or disposed of after a reasonable period.

13. Liability
(a) Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

(b) Subject to clause 13(a), the Organiser is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of opportunity, or costs arising from an attendee’s personal travel or accommodation arrangements.

(c) Each attendee is responsible for loss or damage they cause through unlawful, negligent, reckless or wilful conduct.

14. Circumstances beyond reasonable control
The Organiser is not in breach of these Terms for delay, interruption, change, postponement or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This clause does not limit any remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Third-party services
The Event may involve third-party venues, food vendors, ticketing providers, performers, sponsors or service providers. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply to their own goods and services. The Organiser is not responsible for independent third-party acts or omissions except to the extent required by law.

16. Changes to these Terms
The Organiser may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to the Event, operations or legal requirements. Material changes will be published on the registration page or notified to registered persons where practicable. The version in force at the time of the Event will apply.

17. Governing law and severability
(a) These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.

(b) If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
