Resilience Camp Terms & Conditions
Thank you for joining us at Rainbow Families QLD’s Resilience Camp! These Terms & Conditions are here to help ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable and welcoming experience.
Eligibility
Resilience Camp is designed for LGBTQ+ families with primary school aged children (5+).
Children must attend with a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the camp.
Community Pricing
To help make Resilience Camp accessible, we’ve created three ticket options: Community, Supported and Low Income.
Thanks to the generous support of Macquarie Bank, we’re able to offer a limited number of subsidised places.
We operate on a trust-based system and do not require proof of income. We ask families to choose the ticket option that best reflects their current circumstances. By selecting a Community Ticket, you’re helping another rainbow family attend camp.
Bookings & Payment
Your place is confirmed once payment (or your selected payment plan) has been received.
Supported and Low Income tickets are limited and subject to availability.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible.
* Cancellations more than 30 days before camp are eligible for a refund, less any non-refundable booking or payment processing fees.
* Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided within 30 days of camp unless your place can be filled from the waitlist.
* If Rainbow Families QLD needs to cancel the event, a full refund will be provided.
Medical, Dietary & Accessibility Requirements
Please let us know about any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements or accessibility needs during registration so we can support your family as best we can.
Supervision
Parents and carers remain responsible for their children outside of facilitated activities.
Children are expected to follow the instructions of Camp Cooby staff and activity facilitators during all organised activities.
Adventure Activities
Adventure activities are facilitated by qualified Camp Cooby staff and are subject to their safety guidelines and participation requirements. Participation is voluntary.
Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken throughout the weekend for Rainbow Families QLD promotional purposes.
If you do not wish for your family to appear in photos or videos, please let us know before camp begins and we’ll happily respect your wishes.
Respecting Our Community
Rainbow Families QLD is committed to creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
We ask all attendees to treat fellow families, volunteers, facilitators and venue staff with kindness, respect and inclusion. Behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of others may result in being asked to leave the event.
Contact
If you have any questions before camp, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Rainbow Families QLD team. We’re here to help and can’t wait to welcome your family to camp!
