Earth Walk Therapies – Reiki Workshop Terms & Conditions
Booking & Payment
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in the workshop.
Your booking is not confirmed until your deposit has been received.
Full payment is required 7 days prior to the workshop, unless a payment plan has been arranged in advance.
If full payment has not been received by the due date, Earth Walk Therapies reserves the right to offer your place to another participant.
Cancellation Policy
More than 14 Days Prior to the Workshop
If you cancel 14 days or more before the workshop, Earth Walk Therapies will retain the $50 non-refundable deposit and refund any additional payments you have made.
Less than 14 Days Prior to the Workshop
If you cancel less than 14 days before the workshop, Earth Walk Therapies will retain the $50 non-refundable deposit along with any other payments made.
Your payment may be transferred once only to the next available Reiki workshop. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled workshop, all payments will be forfeited.
Non-Attendance
If you do not attend the workshop without prior notice, no refund or transfer will be provided and all payments will be forfeited.
Cancellation by Earth Walk Therapies
Earth Walk Therapies reserves the right to postpone or cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, emergency or insufficient participant numbers.
If this occurs, participants will be offered either:
A transfer to a future workshop; or
A full refund of all monies paid, including the deposit.
Earth Walk Therapies is not responsible for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by participants.
Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for arriving on time and attending the full workshop. Reiki training includes practical exercises, demonstrations and attunements that build throughout the course, and full attendance is required to receive a Certificate of Completion.
Health & Wellbeing
Please advise Earth Walk Therapies prior to the workshop if you have any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, are pregnant, or have any concerns that may affect your participation.
Reiki is a complementary therapy and is not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Participants should continue to follow the advice of their healthcare professionals.
Certificates
Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of the workshop and full attendance.
Workshop Materials
All manuals, course notes, handouts and teaching materials remain the intellectual property of Earth Walk Therapies and are provided for the personal use of the participant only. They may not be copied, reproduced, shared, sold or used for teaching without written permission.
Photography & Social Media
Photographs may occasionally be taken during workshops for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please let your facilitator know before the workshop begins.
Respectful Learning Environment
Earth Walk Therapies is committed to providing a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment. Participants are expected to treat fellow students, facilitators and the venue with kindness and respect. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
Liability
While every care is taken to provide a safe learning environment, participants attend and participate at their own risk. Earth Walk Therapies accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to personal belongings during the workshop.
By paying your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
