Part 1: Trybooking (this is to secure a spot on the day - billing is done through Xplor)

Please click the 'BOOK NOW' button above to select your desired days of care and follow the prompts to complete the process to enrol your child in Vacation Care in September/October 2025. Within 5 business days you will receive a Registration Confirmed email (this email just acknowledges your request and highlights that part 2 is the next step).

Be sure to enter your child's name exactly as it appears with Centrelink. Please note, if you do not complete the next step within 2 business days your ticket may be forfeited. (If you need assistance for step 2 please contact the centre via the contact info below).

For new families

Part 2: Enrolment in Xplor

Step 1: Prepare the following documents and information:

Your child’s birth certificate
Your child’s immunisation history statement (Most up to date)
Any medical management plans (e.g. for anaphylaxis) This must include a photo of the child with the plan
Contact details of at least one emergency contact other than a primary carer (we prefer 2)
Court orders (if applicable)
Your bank account or credit card details.
Step 2: Please click the link to fill out the enrolment form.

The Enrolments team will review your submission and confirm the enrolment in Xplor once all mandatory information and documents have been provided. Please note we will be updating information in your child’s account such as the schedule, room and fees once the account has been set up. It will be up prior to your child’s first day.

Please note that your enrolment at Vacation Care cannot be processed until all information within Waratah Cottage Xplor is complete. This includes the Excursion Form' (if applicable) which can be found on the MQ Vacation Care Website.

Step 3: Once you have set up your Xplor credentials, you can then go to your nominated App store to search for and download the Xplor Home App.

Creating an account and downloading the Xplor Home app will allow you to do the following:

Sign your child in using a contactless QR code or mobile and pin
View important messages from our centre - manage your finance, view your statements
View information about your child's day such as your child's nutrition, sunscreen application, as appropriate
Mark your child as absent or running late
For returning families:

You do not have to create a new Xplor profile, please ensure that all details including child allergies/medical conditions are up to date.

IMPORTANT Childcare Subsidy Info:

Childcare subsidy can be difficult to navigate. One issue is the 14-weeks automatically unenrolled (we do not control this). If you are unenrolled and have any absence at the end of your enrolment. The Childcare Subsidy will be revoked up to the last day of attendance. Therefore, it is important to attend on your last day or provide us with the correct cancelation notice period. Approved cancelled days will not be submitted as absent / attended but removed from your enrolment. If you have concerns, call the centre prior to your last day of attendance.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
