School Holiday Workshop Terms & Conditions
By booking a place in an In My Own Kitchen school holiday workshop, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking & Payment
• Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your child's place.
• Places are limited and cannot be held without payment.
• A booking confirmation will be sent once payment has been received.
Cancellations & Transfers
• If you are unable to attend, please contact In My Own Kitchen as soon as possible.
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop may be eligible for a transfer to another available workshop date or a refund, at the discretion of In My Own Kitchen.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable, as ingredients and resources have been purchased based on confirmed numbers.
• If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please contact us. Transfers may be considered where possible.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
• Please provide details of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements during the booking process.
• While every effort is made to accommodate dietary needs, In My Own Kitchen operates from a home kitchen and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
• If a child's dietary requirements cannot be safely accommodated, we will contact you before the workshop.
Child Safety & Participation
• Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details at the time of booking.
• Children must follow safety instructions and behave respectfully towards other participants and the instructor.
• In My Own Kitchen reserves the right to contact a parent/guardian if a child's behaviour presents a safety concern or significantly impacts the experience of other participants.
Photography
• Photos may occasionally be taken during workshops for promotional purposes, including social media and the In My Own Kitchen website.
• To protect children's privacy, photographs will focus on the cooking experience, including the food children prepare, their creations, cooking activities and hands at work. Children's faces will not be photographed or used in promotional material.
• If you do not wish your child's participation or creations to be photographed, please advise us at the time of booking.
Workshop Changes
• In My Own Kitchen reserves the right to make reasonable changes to recipes, activities or workshop arrangements if required.
• In the unlikely event that a workshop needs to be cancelled, participants will be offered a transfer or full refund.
By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions and agree to be contacted by In My Own Kitchen about your booking.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
