All children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parent, legal guardian or nominated responsible adult at all times.
Parents and guardians are responsible for their child's behaviour, safety and wellbeing before, during and after the event.
The organisers do not provide child-minding or supervision services.
2. Behaviour
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards presenters, volunteers, venue staff, animals (where applicable), equipment and other guests.
Any person displaying unsafe, disruptive, abusive or aggressive behaviour may be asked to leave without refund.
3. Damage to Property
Parents or legal guardians accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by their child to the venue, equipment, props, animals or property belonging to the organiser, presenters or other attendees.
The organiser reserves the right to recover the reasonable cost of repair or replacement where damage results from deliberate, reckless or negligent behaviour.
4. Participation
Participation in demonstrations and activities is voluntary.
Parents accept responsibility for deciding whether activities are suitable for their child.
Children must follow all safety instructions given by presenters at all times.
5. Allergies, Medical Conditions and Special Needs
Parents are responsible for informing the organiser before the event of any significant medical conditions, allergies or support requirements that may affect participation.
Parents remain responsible for administering medication and supervising any medical needs during the event.
6. Arrival and Collection
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time.
Late arrivals may miss part of the program and may not receive additional time or compensation.
7. Program Schedule
Every reasonable effort will be made to deliver the advertised program.
Presentation order, duration, presenters, activities and show times may change where reasonably necessary due to operational requirements, venue requirements, weather, safety considerations or unforeseen circumstances.
Minor variations do not entitle attendees to a refund.
8. Booking Fees
Your booking secures your place at the event and contributes towards venue hire, presenter fees, preparation, administration, insurance, equipment, animals (where applicable), activity materials and other event costs.
These costs are incurred before the event takes place.
9. Refund Policy
Bookings are non-refundable.
Refunds will not be provided for change of mind, inability to attend, illness, late arrival, scheduling conflicts or early departure.
If the organiser cancels the event and cannot provide a suitable alternative session, attendees will receive either a full refund or another remedy required under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Transfers
If you are unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another person with prior approval from the organiser before the event commences.
11. Photography and Video
Parents may photograph or video their own children for personal use only.
Photography or recording of other children without their parent or guardian's permission is prohibited.
The organiser may take photographs or video for promotional purposes unless a parent notifies the organiser in writing before the event that they do not consent to their child being photographed.
12. Personal Property
Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings.
The organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
13. Health and Safety
All attendees must follow directions from presenters and venue staff.
For everyone's safety, running, rough play and interference with equipment, animals or presentations is not permitted unless specifically invited.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the organiser is not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the event except where caused by the organiser's negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
15. Force Majeure
The organiser is not responsible for cancellations, postponements or delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, venue closure, government directions, power outages, natural disasters, illness of presenters or other unforeseen events.
Where possible, an alternative session or another remedy consistent with Australian Consumer Law will be offered.
16. Acceptance
