ROLE DESCRIPTION
Focus: Distributing Wristbands to Leavers and give them the best first impression for their Leavers experience! Some people may also have the opportunity to scan in wristbands at The Zone, checking people in.
Responsible for the operation of the area they’re in – looking out for and monitoring the safety of leavers, under the guidance and direction of the Team Leader and Team Leader Assistant.
Requirement:
- Has a current WWCC, National Police Clearance or Volunteer National Police Clearance and supportive referees
- Respects the beliefs of BCWA - understanding the missional aspect of Green Team
- Can use an iPad sufficiently
- Able to work in a team in a high-pressure and stressful situation
- Adapt well to change
- Take direction from leadership
SAFETY CHECKS
Please note - if you do not already have a National Police Clearance we can assist you in the process of applying for one – you can register without this and we’ll commence the process with you once you’ve finalised your registration. You must obtain a WWCC through your workplace, church or studies – this is not something we can sign off on for you as a volunteer.
This includes the below:
- Valid Working With Children Card,
- National Volunteer Police Check or Volunteer National Police Check (within the last 3 months)
- Three references – local church pastor, member of your local church, employer, or lecturer
Green Team Induction
It is a requirement that all volunteers attend the induction and training session – Date and location TBC and a registration link will be sent to you closer to the date.
Refund Policy
Baptist Churches Western Australia understands circumstances change and offer the following alternatives to assist you should you need to alter your registration. Cancellations can be arranged by writing to Baptist Churches Western Australia – must be received thirty (30) days prior to the event. No refunds will be issued after this date.
A $30 cancellation fee will be incurred for registrations cancelled as per the above policy. Baptist Churches Western Australia can allow for special consideration of your circumstances in regards to this policy. If this is the case, please contact Baptist Churches Western Australia to discuss your circumstances.
PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY
Protecting your privacy is important to us. The information we seek allows us to manage risk, provide reasonable care and administer your involvement in our program. We are careful to keep your information confidential, and provide it only to those agents acting on behalf of the organisation who need it to enable them to perform their agreed activities (e.g. First Aid Officer). We will not use your information for other purposes. You are welcome to contact our office in relation to issues regarding your personal information and for a copy of our Privacy Policy.
We only ask for information that is necessary for the purposes outlined in this statement. In some circumstances, if you don’t provide us with all the requested information you could miss the opportunity to be involved in our program.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
