By submitting your name for inclusion in a team you agree to accept the following UWA TC Junior League Policy:
1. UWA TC encourages players to participate in Tennis West League Competitions, and the League Coordinator will endeavour to place those nominating in a team. Players not able to be placed in a team will be notified by the League Coordinator as soon as possible and placed on the reserve list. Alternatively, players may wish to contact other clubs to find a suitable league team.
2. All UWA TC Junior League players must be financial members of the Club.
3. Teams will be selected primarily based on players’ Universal Tennis Ranking
(UTR). Players will be listed in grading order, and the League Coordinator will endeavour to form teams in an equitable manner, providing the ‘best’ tennis experience for the majority of players. Players may indicate preferred teammates, and this may be enabled depending on other nominations.
4. Court allocation will be determined by division, with State Grade and higher divisions given preference for clay as a nominated surface.
5. Usually, teams will comprise six players, but this may vary at the discretion of the League Committee depending on circumstances such as the number and standard of players nominating, availability of reserves and court availability.
6. Teams once selected are FINAL.
7. UWA TC provides an authorised Match Supervisor for all junior HOME matches and has overall responsibility for the application of Tennis League rules.
8. Players should familiarise themselves with the UWA TC policies, which can be found at www.uwatennis.com.au
9. It is anticipated that those players nominating as regular team members will be available for most fixtures and will play sufficient matches to meet finals qualifications criteria. Availability for the finals is assumed unless exceptional circumstances arise.
10. Junior League fees are $120:00 per season and cover TW fees, UWA Sport court fees, balls, and match supervisors.
11. If you are unable to play, please ensure that you notify your team manager with enough time to find a suitable replacement. If any problems arise, please contact Simon Harper 0440909238.
