Terms & Conditions (Effective for Summer Intensive 2027)

2. Eligibility, Applications & Acceptance
Applicants must meet the Program’s stated age and skill requirements and submit any requested audition materials or information. Placement is subject to selection, and offers are made at the sole discretion of the Program directors.
3. Fees, Payment & Late Payments
Program fees are published on the official Program webpage. Payment in full is required by Friday 4th December 2026. If fees are not received by the due date, the participant's place may be forfeited and offered to another applicant.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing prior to the published deadline. No refunds will be provided after this date, except in approved medical circumstances supported by documentation. If Skunkworks Community cancels the Program, full refunds of Program fees will be issued.
5. Program Changes & Force Majeure
Skunkworks Community reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the published timetable, personnel, repertoire, or venue. Skunkworks Community is not liable for failure to perform its obligations where caused by events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather events, natural disasters, or public health orders).
6. Child Safety, Supervision & Code of Conduct
All staff, tutors, and volunteers hold valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC) or current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. Participants must comply with the Program Code of Conduct at all times. Bullying, harassment, violence, substance misuse, or illegal activity will result in immediate removal from the Program without a refund.
7. Health, Medical & Medication
Participants must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, and emergency contacts during the application process. Parents/guardians must supply any required medication in its original packaging, clearly labelled with written usage instructions.
8. Accommodation & Supervision
Residential attendees must adhere strictly to all venue rules, curfew times, and duty-of-care guidelines established by event supervisors.
9. Equipment, Instruments & Personal Property
Participants are responsible for providing their own instruments and personal accessories. Skunkworks Community provides shared percussion equipment. Participants are strongly advised to obtain personal insurance for their instruments; Skunkworks Community accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
10. Photography, Video & Media Consent
Skunkworks Community may photograph, film, or audio-record rehearsals and performances for promotional, educational, and archival purposes. Consent for media usage is assumed upon registration unless a written opt-out request is submitted prior to the start of the Program.
11. Privacy & Data Handling
Skunkworks Community collects personal information solely for Program administration, safety, and event operations. All personal data is handled securely in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
12. Travel & Transport
Transport to and from the venue is the sole responsibility of participants or their parents/guardians unless explicitly arranged and communicated by the organiser.
13. Intellectual Property & Program Materials
All music scores, rehearsal tracks, and instructional materials provided remain protected by intellectual property laws. They are supplied for personal study only and must not be reproduced, distributed, or published without express written permission.
14. Liability & Insurance
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Skunkworks Community is not liable for personal injury, loss, or property damage sustained during the Program, except where directly caused by proven negligence. Participants are encouraged to maintain independent personal travel and medical insurance.
15. Complaints & Disputes
Complaints or concerns should be submitted in writing to contacttheskunk@gmail.com. Issues will be reviewed and managed in accordance with the Skunkworks Community complaints handling procedure.
16. Social Media & Online Communications
Participants and guardians must maintain respectful communication across all digital platforms. Posting content, media, or comments that harass, demean, or defame fellow participants, tutors, or organisers is strictly prohibited.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an application or attending the Program, participants (and their parent/guardian if under 18 years of age) confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
18. Amendments
Skunkworks Community reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as necessary. The version published on the Program webpage at the time of application will apply.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
