St George's Ball — Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before purchasing a ticket to St George's Ball (the "Event"). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase

1.1 All tickets are subject to availability and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.2 Ticket prices are as advertised at the time of purchase and are inclusive of GST.
1.3 Tickets are non-transferable unless prior written approval is obtained from the organiser.
1.4 The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or revoke a ticket where these Terms have been breached.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Refund requests must be submitted in writing to stgeorgesball.rovers@scoutsqld.au and will be processed according to the following schedule, based on the date the written request is received:

- On or before 9 October - Full refund (100%)
- 10 October – 20 October (inclusive) - 50% refund
- After 20 October - No refund

2.2 Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval and returned via the original payment method.
2.3 No-shows on the night of the Event are not entitled to any refund, regardless of the reason for non-attendance.
2.4 The organiser reserves the right to consider refund requests outside this policy on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion, including in cases of documented medical emergency or bereavement.

3. Event Changes and Cancellation

3.1 The organiser reserves the right to alter the Event program, venue, date, or time due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
3.2 If the Event is cancelled by the organiser, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled date.
3.3 The organiser is not liable for any incidental costs incurred by attendees (e.g. travel, accommodation, attire) as a result of any changes to or cancellation of the Event.

4. Conduct

4.1 Attendees are expected to behave in a manner that does not endanger the safety or enjoyment of other guests, staff, or performers.
4.2 The organiser reserves the right to remove any attendee from the Event without refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, dangerous, or unlawful.

5. Health, Safety & Liability

5.1 Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk. The organiser is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the Event, except where caused by the organiser's negligence.
5.2 Attendees with allergies, dietary requirements, or accessibility needs should notify the organiser through the form in the ticket purchase.

6. Photography & Media

6.1 The Event may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image in such materials, unless you notify the organiser in writing prior to the Event.

7. Privacy

7.1 Personal information collected during ticket purchase will be used solely for Event administration and communication purposes, in accordance with the organiser's Privacy Policy.
