Terms and Conditions  −  2026 SCHOOLS CHESS LEAGUE GIRLS FINAL

By purchasing this ticket, I acknowledge and accept that:

The CAWA Arbiters and Volunteers are not responsible for supervising players in any areas of the venue outside of the designated Chess playing Zone. It is my responsibility as a parent or caregiver to supervise my children for the duration of the event, and this responsibility does not fall upon CAWA or any of its appointed staff on the day of the tournament.

The CAWA Arbiters' role is to ensure that the Chess Games are played in accordance with the rules and to maintain order within the designated Chess Playing Zone. As a parent, I understand that I am not permitted to enter or interact within the Chess Zone at any time or challenge any final decisions made by the Chief Arbiter.

The responsibility of running the tournament falls upon the CAWA Volunteers and their appointed staff. Once the event begins, it is their duty to carry it out as smoothly as possible, with minimal distractions, to ensure accurate reporting of results. I am aware that there is a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of aggressive behavior during the event. Such behavior will not be tolerated, and appropriate action will be taken if necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees. In the event of any conflicts or dissatisfaction, kindly inform the organizer.

My child is aware of the "no mobile phone policy" and will be reminded not to carry any mobile phones or wearable smartwatches during the games.

All Players who have completed their games are required to make their way outside of the playing zone quietly.

All caregivers are required to be stationed outside of the playing zone.

This event will be run in accordance with the FIDE rules.

All organizing committee members are volunteers with the common goal of giving young and aspiring chess players a platform to showcase their talents. Please be mindful and respectful with all your communications especially with disputes. We will try our best to resolve it as amicably as possible. If you feel your dispute is not resolved, you can raise it with the "CAWA Appeals and Disputes Committee"
