By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive event-related information from The Social Chapter Perth via the email address provided at the time of booking.
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending a The Social Chapter Perth event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Ticket Purchase & Attendance
Tickets are valid only for the specific event, date and session stated at the time of purchase and may not be exchanged for another event unless otherwise approved by The Social Chapter Perth.
The event venue, date, start time, finish time and inclusions will be stated on the relevant event booking page and/or ticket.
Attendees are responsible for arriving at the advertised event venue by the event start time. The event will commence as scheduled, and The Social Chapter Perth is not responsible for missed activities or portions of the event due to late arrival.
Due to the nature of some The Social Chapter Perth events, attendees may be required to participate in craft, creative or other hands-on activities. Attendees should wear clothing appropriate for the particular event.
While every reasonable care is taken, The Social Chapter Perth accepts no responsibility for accidental damage to clothing or personal items resulting from normal participation in event activities.

2. Age Requirements
Attendees must be 18 years or older to attend independently.
Attendees under 18 years of age may only attend if:
* Accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; or
* Written parental or guardian consent has been provided to The Social Chapter Perth prior to the event.
The Social Chapter Perth reserves the right to request proof of age or parental consent where required.
Specific events may have additional age restrictions where required by the venue, activity or nature of the event. Any such restriction will be stated on the relevant event booking page.

3. Refund Policy
Tickets are generally non-refundable for:
* Change of mind
* Personal scheduling conflicts
* Travel issues
* Failure to attend the event
* Late arrival
This does not limit or exclude any rights an attendee may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer or privately resell your ticket in accordance with Section 4 of these Terms & Conditions.

4. Ticket Transfers & Resale
If you can no longer attend an event, you may transfer or privately resell your ticket to another person, subject to any event-specific restrictions.
The original ticket holder must notify The Social Chapter Perth in writing prior to the event with:
* The new attendee's full name
* Contact email address
* Any relevant dietary or accessibility information, where applicable
The Social Chapter Perth reserves the right to refuse attendance where transfer details have not been provided before the event or where the proposed attendee does not meet applicable age or event requirements.
Any private sale arrangements are the responsibility of the original ticket holder.
The Social Chapter Perth accepts no responsibility for disputes arising from private ticket sales, payment arrangements or transactions between the original ticket holder and the purchaser.
Tickets may not be resold in a manner that is misleading or deceptive or otherwise contrary to applicable Australian Consumer Law.

5. Event Cancellation & Rescheduling
The Social Chapter Perth will make reasonable efforts to deliver each event as advertised.
If The Social Chapter Perth is required to postpone, reschedule or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
* Venue issues
* Venue availability
* Supplier cancellations
* Safety concerns
* Extreme weather
* Government restrictions or requirements
* Illness affecting the organiser or key event personnel
* Unforeseen operational circumstances
* Other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the organiser
Every reasonable effort will be made to provide an alternative event date where practicable.

Where an event is rescheduled, ticket holders will first be offered the opportunity to transfer their ticket to the rescheduled event.
Where an event is cancelled and no suitable replacement event is provided, or where a consumer is otherwise entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, the applicable remedy will be provided in accordance with the law.

The Social Chapter Perth is not responsible for additional costs incurred by attendees, including travel, accommodation, parking, meals or other personal expenses, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

6. Event Changes
While every effort will be made to deliver each event as advertised, The Social Chapter Perth reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
* The event schedule
* The event location or venue
* Activities
* Guest speakers or facilitators
* Suppliers
* Catering arrangements
* Timing
* Event inclusions
* Décor or styling
* Specific products, materials or creative items
where necessary due to operational requirements, venue availability, supplier availability, weather, illness, safety considerations or other unforeseen circumstances.

The Social Chapter Perth may host different events at different venues. The venue for each event will be specified on the relevant event booking page and communicated to ticket holders.
Where a venue change is required after tickets have been purchased, The Social Chapter Perth will communicate the change to affected attendees as soon as reasonably practicable.

If a change constitutes a significant change to the event or otherwise gives rise to rights under the Australian Consumer Law, those rights will apply.
For events involving handcrafted materials, miniature décor, keepsakes, food, beverages or other curated inclusions, specific colours, designs, miniature pieces, products, food items and decorative elements may vary from those shown in promotional material.

Where necessary, The Social Chapter Perth reserves the right to substitute items with products or inclusions of equal or greater quality and value.

7. Workshop Materials & Finished Creations
Where an event includes a creative workshop, each attendee's finished creation may be individually designed and unique.
The Social Chapter Perth does not guarantee that finished creations will exactly match promotional images, examples or the creations of other attendees.
Specific materials, colours, designs, miniature pieces and decorative items may vary depending on availability and the particular event.
Attendees are responsible for taking reasonable care when handling workshop materials, miniature items, tools and decorative pieces during the event.
Where an event includes miniature books, artwork, décor or other creative components, the availability of specific designs or titles cannot be guaranteed.

8. Behaviour & Conduct
The Social Chapter Perth is committed to creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees.
By attending an event, participants agree to:
* Treat fellow attendees, venue staff, suppliers, facilitators and organisers with courtesy and respect.
* Refrain from bullying, harassment, discrimination or inappropriate behaviour.
* Follow reasonable instructions provided by event organisers, facilitators and venue staff.
* Respect the venue, its property and equipment.
* Consume alcohol responsibly where applicable.
* Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of other attendees.
The Social Chapter Perth reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any attendee from an event without refund where their behaviour is considered:
* Aggressive
* Harassing
* Intimidating
* Unsafe
* Discriminatory
* Disruptive to the enjoyment or safety of others
* In breach of venue rules or reasonable directions from event staff
Any attendee removed from an event due to misconduct will not be entitled to a refund, subject to any rights they may have under applicable law.

9. Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility
Attendees participate in The Social Chapter Perth events at their own responsibility and must follow reasonable health and safety directions provided by organisers and venue staff.
Participants are responsible for:
* Advising the organisers of any accessibility requirements prior to the event.
* Advising The Social Chapter Perth of any dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerances before the event.
* Following any reasonable safety instructions provided during the event.
* Taking reasonable care of their own personal belongings.
* Bringing any personal items, medication or equipment they reasonably require for their own needs.
While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate notified dietary requirements where possible, The Social Chapter Perth cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.

Food and beverages may be supplied by third-party venues or catering providers. While reasonable care is taken when selecting suppliers, The Social Chapter Perth cannot guarantee that food is free from allergens or cross-contamination.

Attendees with allergies or dietary requirements are responsible for assessing whether food or beverages provided at an event are suitable for them and should communicate relevant requirements to The Social Chapter Perth before the event.

Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the event.
The Social Chapter Perth accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Photography & Social Media
Photos and videos may be taken throughout events for promotional, marketing and social media purposes.
By attending an event, attendees acknowledge that photography and video recording may occur.
Reasonable efforts will be made to respect attendees who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos.
Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should notify The Social Chapter Perth in writing prior to the event or advise the organiser upon arrival.
Attendees may take photographs and videos of their own experience and creations and are encouraged to share their experience across social media and tag The Social Chapter Perth.
Attendees are asked to respect the privacy of other guests and seek their consent before photographing or recording identifiable individuals.

11. Venue
Each The Social Chapter Perth event may be hosted at a different venue.
The venue for each specific event will be stated on the relevant event booking page and/or ticket and may include community venues, bookstores, cafés, creative spaces or other suitable locations.
The venue is responsible only for providing the agreed venue space and any services specifically outlined as being supplied by that venue.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the venue is not responsible for the organisation, management, ticket sales, event promotion, event administration, workshop activities or customer enquiries relating to the event.
All event-related enquiries, ticketing questions, transfers, cancellations and refund requests should be directed to The Social Chapter Perth.

Where attendees make purchases directly from a host venue, including books, food, beverages, merchandise or other goods, those purchases are separate transactions between the attendee and the venue unless expressly stated otherwise on the event booking page.
Such purchases are subject to the venue's own policies and conditions.

12. Event Inclusions
Event inclusions will be outlined on the relevant event booking page at the time tickets are sold.
While The Social Chapter Perth will make reasonable efforts to provide all advertised inclusions, specific products, food items, materials, designs, suppliers and decorative elements may vary where reasonably necessary.
Where a specific inclusion becomes unavailable, The Social Chapter Perth may provide a suitable alternative of equal or greater value where reasonably practicable.

By purchasing a ticket, attendees acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

14. Intellectual Property
The creative concepts, workshop formats, printed materials, exclusive miniature keepsakes, event branding, activities and other original content developed for The Social Chapter Perth, including Tiny Tales & Tiny Shelves, remain the intellectual property of The Social Chapter Perth unless otherwise stated.
Attendees are welcome to photograph and share their own experience for personal use.
However, event materials, workshop concepts, exclusive designs, activities and original creative content may not be reproduced, copied, recreated or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from The Social Chapter Perth.

Important: These Terms & Conditions are intended to set out the general conditions applying to The Social Chapter Perth events. They do not exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
