Jiva Rise – Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please read before booking. By purchasing a ticket through TryBooking, you agree to the following cancellation and refund terms.

Refunds & Cancellations

1. Change-of-Mind Cancellations
Because Jiva Rise retreats and mindfulness sessions are small-group experiences with limited places, a non-refundable deposit of 20–25% of your ticket price applies to every booking. For Held By The Herd, this amount is $10

• More than 30 days before the event: Full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
• 7–30 days before the event: 50% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
• Less than 7 days before the event: No refund is available.

These timeframes reflect the cost of preparing for your place, and how difficult it is to fill it again at short notice.

2. Illness / Medical Certificate
If you are unable to attend due to illness and provide a medical certificate:
• You may request a transfer to a future retreat or session.
• Transfers depend on availability and are not guaranteed.
• Refunds are not offered for illness unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

3. Transfer to Another Person
If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else, at no extra cost to you.
• Please let Jiva Rise know before the event who will be attending in your place.
• The new participant must be 18 years or older, female for women’s only retreats and must agree to all retreat policies and safety requirements.
• Arranging payment or reimbursement between yourself and the new participant is your responsibility, not Jiva Rise's.

4. No-Show Policy
If you do not attend the event without prior notice:
• The full ticket fee is forfeited.
• No refunds or credits are issued.

5. Event Cancellation by Jiva Rise
If Jiva Rise needs to cancel the event, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. This may occur due to:
• Severe weather
• Safety concerns for participants or horses
• Illness or unexpected circumstances

Safety, for you and for the herd, will always guide this decision.
Please note: Jiva Rise is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses.

6. TryBooking Fees
TryBooking's booking fees and payment processing fees are set by TryBooking and may not be refundable. Please check TryBooking's terms at checkout.

7. Changes to Policy
Jiva Rise may update this policy when needed. The version in place at the time of your booking applies, unless you agree to a revised version.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
