By purchasing a ticket to a Girls Table event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Tickets & refunds: Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, illness, personal circumstances, inability to attend, lateness, or leaving an event early. Tickets may be transferred or privately on-sold, provided the organiser is notified of any name change prior to the event.

Event changes: The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event, including changes to the venue, timing, activities, inclusions, itinerary, suppliers, or other arrangements where circumstances require. Every effort will be made to notify attendees of significant changes.

Cancellation: If an event is cancelled by the organiser, attendees will be offered a refund or transfer to a rescheduled date, where applicable. The organiser is not responsible for additional costs incurred by attendees, including travel, accommodation, transport, parking, or other expenses.

Venues & third parties: Events may take place at venues or involve external businesses, suppliers, instructors, entertainers, transport providers, or other third parties. The Girls Table is not responsible for the actions, omissions, services, policies, delays, closures, cancellations, or decisions of third parties.

Food & drink: Where food or drinks are provided, purchased, or available at an event, attendees are responsible for advising the relevant venue or organiser of any allergies, intolerances, dietary requirements, or other restrictions prior to the event. The Girls Table cannot guarantee that food will be free from allergens or cross-contamination. Where alcohol is available, attendees must drink responsibly and comply with all venue requirements and applicable laws. Service or entry may be refused due to intoxication or inappropriate behaviour.

Personal belongings: Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings, valuables, phones, bags, vehicles, and other property. The organiser and venue are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

Health, safety & injury: Attendees participate in activities and attend events at their own risk. The organiser is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation or attendance, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. Attendees are responsible for informing the organiser of any relevant limitations or requirements that may affect their safe participation.

Behaviour: All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately towards other attendees, venue staff, suppliers, organisers, and members of the public. Disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, intoxicated, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.

Event activities: Some events may involve physical activity, equipment, food preparation, craft materials, outdoor environments, alcohol, or other activities that carry inherent risks. Attendees are responsible for following all reasonable instructions, safety requirements, venue rules, and directions provided by organisers, staff, or instructors.

Arrival & timing: Attendees are responsible for arriving at the advertised location and on time. Events and activities may commence at the scheduled time, and late arrival may result in missed activities, instructions, bookings, or inclusions without entitlement to a refund.

Photos & videos: Photos and/or videos may be taken during events for The Girls Table's social media, promotional, or marketing purposes. Please advise the organiser if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.

Weather & circumstances outside our control: The organiser is not responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, venue issues, supplier cancellations, transport disruptions, power outages, government restrictions, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative arrangement where possible.

Individual responsibility: By attending, you agree to take reasonable care of yourself and others, follow applicable venue rules and instructions, and accept responsibility for your own decisions and conduct throughout the event.

Organiser's role: The Girls Table is a community social group and event organiser. Ticket prices are used to cover the costs associated with running individual events and are not a guarantee of any particular experience, outcome, venue service, or third-party offering.

Acceptance of terms: By purchasing a ticket and/or attending a Girls Table event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
