💕 ABOUT THE GIRLS TABLE

The Girls Table is a community-run, volunteer-led social group created to bring people together, make new friends and enjoy fun experiences.

The organisers and volunteers who help run The Girls Table do not receive payment for their time. We run the community voluntarily because we genuinely enjoy creating opportunities for people to get out, socialise and meet new people.

Ticket prices are set to cover the costs of each individual event, including venues, food, activities, entertainment, transport and other event expenses.

Where there is any remaining amount after event costs, it is reinvested back into The Girls Table community to help fund future events, activities or group expenses.

No organiser takes the remaining funds as personal income or profit.

🎟️ TICKETS & REFUNDS

• All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, illness, personal circumstances or inability to attend.

• Tickets may be transferred or privately on-sold to another person, provided the organiser is notified of any required name change prior to the event.

• The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry where a ticket cannot be verified or where the attendee does not meet the requirements stated for that particular event.

• Event-specific ticket inclusions, age requirements, locations and other conditions will be stated on the relevant booking page.

📅 EVENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

• The Girls Table reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event times, venues, activities, suppliers, itineraries or other arrangements where required.

• Every effort will be made to provide the advertised experience, however circumstances outside the organiser’s control may require changes.

• If The Girls Table cancels an event and cannot provide a suitable alternative date or arrangement, affected ticket holders will be offered a refund or transfer to a new date, as applicable.

• If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets may be transferred to the new date in accordance with the arrangements communicated by the organiser.

⏰ ARRIVAL & PUNCTUALITY

• Attendees are responsible for arriving at the advertised meeting point by the required time.

• Events and activities may start promptly and late arrivals may miss part or all of the event without entitlement to a refund.

• Where transport is provided, the vehicle will not necessarily be able to wait for late arrivals. Any alternative transport required as a result of missing the scheduled departure is the attendee’s responsibility.

🤝 BEHAVIOUR

• The Girls Table is a social community and everyone is expected to treat other attendees, staff, venues and suppliers with respect.

• Disruptive, aggressive, inappropriate, threatening, unsafe or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.

• The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove an attendee from an event where their behaviour creates a safety concern, disrupts the event or negatively impacts other guests.

• Removal from an event due to behaviour will be without refund.

🍹 ALCOHOL & AGE REQUIREMENTS

• Alcohol policies vary between events. Please check the individual event booking page for any alcohol, BYO and age requirements.

• Where alcohol is permitted, all attendees are expected to drink responsibly and comply with the requirements of the venue, transport provider and applicable laws.

• The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, service or participation where an attendee is intoxicated or behaving unsafely or inappropriately.

🍽️ FOOD, ALLERGIES & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

• Any dietary requirements or allergies should be disclosed to the organiser at the time of booking or as soon as possible before the event.

• While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary requirements, The Girls Table cannot guarantee that food will be completely free from allergens due to preparation and cross-contamination at third-party venues.

🏠 DAMAGE & PERSONAL BELONGINGS

• Attendees are responsible for any damage they cause to venue property, equipment, transport or other facilities.

• Any costs arising from damage caused by an attendee may be charged to the attendee responsible.

• The Girls Table is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings. Please keep valuables secure throughout the event.

📸 PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT

• Photos and videos may be taken at The Girls Table events for promotional and social media purposes.

• By attending an event, you acknowledge that you may appear in general event photography or video.

• If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please advise the organiser or event staff before or during the event and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request.

🚍 THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS

• Some events involve third-party venues, transport providers, entertainers, activity providers and other suppliers.

• Attendees are required to follow the reasonable rules, safety requirements and Terms & Conditions of any third-party provider involved in the event.

• Where a third-party provider makes changes or cancels a service due to circumstances outside The Girls Table’s control, the organiser will communicate any available alternatives or arrangements as soon as reasonably possible.

⚠️ HEALTH, SAFETY & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

• Attendees participate in events and activities at their own risk and are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and safety.

• Attendees should advise the organiser of any relevant requirements or limitations that may affect their ability to safely participate in an activity.

• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Australian law.

📋 GENERAL

• The Girls Table reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

• The Terms & Conditions applicable to an event are those displayed at the time of booking, together with any event-specific conditions communicated to attendees.

• Purchasing a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and any reasonable event-specific requirements provided as part of the booking process.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
