ARC accredited Advanced Life Support Level 1 (ALS1) Courses at the Peninsula University Hospital, Simulation Centre.
Registration
• Course registrations are finalised 3 weeks prior to the course date or when course is fully booked.
• Once registration is completed and payment received the course manual and information pack will be issued 3 weeks prior to the scheduled course date.
• *If the Postal option for your course pack distribution is selected, this will be sent via Registered Post with a signature required, thus please ensure your listed address is correct. If you are not home Australia Post will leave you a card and you will need to attend the specified post office to receive your pack.
Cancellations and Refunds
• Participants are not eligible for a refund once course manual and information pack has been issued.
• Cancellation received in writing to SimCentre@phcn.vic.gov.au 4 weeks prior to the course date and before the course manual and information pack is issued will be entitled to attend another course date, or receive a refund less a AUD$30 administration fee.
• If a candidate fails to attend or cancels less than 1 week prior to the scheduled course date, fees are forfeited and an additional full registration fee will be required to attend an alternate course date.
• Non-attendance or cancellation due to illness in writing to SimCentre@phcn.vic.gov.au , supported by a medical certificate will be eligible for a course transfer to another date, dependent on availability.
• Peninsula Health reserves the right to cancel planned courses, even at short notice.
• In the unlikely event of a course cancellation by Peninsula Health, participants will be offered the option to choose an alternate course date, dependent on availability, or a refund of the registration fee less the cost of the course manual which will be retained by the participant.

The personal information provided with your course registrations will only be used for purposes pertaining to the course for which you have registered.
Participant Responsibilities
• Participants can only successfully complete the course if they attend all lectures and skills stations, and complete any outlined online learning or quiz requirements within the specified timeframe.
• Upon request, participants may be required to provide proof of professional status.
• Peninsula Health will not be responsible for the loss of property or parking fines incurred with attendance at the course.
