Dear Glenaeon Families,

Following is the information for booking Glenaeon Charter Buses. All bookings are made on the condition that the Code of Conduct is read and accepted. Please discuss the Code of Conduct with your child in an age appropriate way.

PLEASE NOTE:

If your child is riding the bus for the first time, you will need to contact reception at Middle Cove or Castlecrag *before* your child rides the bus. We will need to register students and collect parent/guardian contact details which will be provided to the bus company before children ride the bus.


CASTLECRAG CAMPUS - Very Important

If your child is attending Glenaeon's Castlecrag campus and will be using the bus services at Castlecrag, please email Castlecrag@glenaeon.nsw.edu.au with your child's bus schedule.

During the term, if there are any changes to your child's schedule for the afternoon buses please notify Castlecrag@glenaeon.nsw.edu.au via email as soon as practical BEFORE 1pm.

Transport code of conduct
When travelling to and from school on School Charter Buses and public transport, all Glenaeon students are expected to comply with the Transport Conduct Code in order to ensure their safety and comfort and the safety and comfort of others.

Bus Passes and are issued on condition that all students know and understand their obligations as below. You must:

Behave appropriately and safely at all times
Remain seated for the duration of your journey with your seatbelt fastened
Follow the driver’s instructions
Follow NSW Health mandates (for example, mask wearing for students over the age of 12 years)
If food is consumed it should leave no trace in the bus – this is at the discretion of the bus driver
Behave politely and kindly to your fellow travelers – there is to be no:
Loud and noisy behavior
Teasing, bullying or offensive language
Placing feet on the seat
Phones and other electronic devices may only be used with earphones by students in Year 7 and above.
Older students may not share devices with students in Classes K – 6
Breaches of this Code of Conduct can include consequences such as:

Formal investigation and interview process
After school detention (Friday)
Automatic suspension of bus pass
Parents are requested to share this document with their children in an age appropriate way and encourage them to abide by its rules
