IRSCs Ride The Cyclone: High School Edition
About
“This couldn’t possibly get any stranger.”“I’m under the firm belief that it always can.”
In this hilarious and exhilarating story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a rollercoaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other – the chance to return to life. This bold, striking, and genre-busting musical started life in Canada, before becoming a hit in Chicago and New York, and then a record-breaking online phenomenon. Now the show has its Tasmanian premiere with IRSCs Youth Musical.
Ride the Cyclone runs for approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
We encourage patrons to arrive up to an hour early to the ticketed musical start time to enjoy the pre-show and to ensure they are seated before the performance commences. Doors open from 6:30pm for evening performances and 12:00pm for matinee performances.
