General Information
Dear Cubs & Parents,
1st Balcombe Heights Cubs, parents, and siblings are invited to ride, scoot or walk around Turon Park.
Please wear Scout uniform and enclosed shoes.
There will be two groups:
Group 1: Experienced Bike Riders can challenge the BMX track
Group 2: Less Experienced Riders, Scooters and Walkers can take on the flat paths in the park.

Wet Weather:
Barring severe weather, this event will run in the rain.
In the event of heavy rain on the night, the event will be cancelled. Cancellation will be advised by email & SMS.
Please Bring:
Please wear your uniform to and from the venue and bring the following:
- Bike with WORKING LIGHTS (front and rear - we will be riding in the dark) OR Scooter with WORKING LIGHTS (front and rear (or worn on the body))
- Parents - ensure that your Cubs bike or scooter is in GOOD WORKING ORDER before leaving home (inspect their lights (check they're working), air pressure, brakes, chain, tyres)
- Helmet
- Enclosed Shoes
- A backpack containing - water bottle, Insect repellant, First Aid Kit, Raincoat, Money for McDonald's
Parents & Siblings:
Parent helpers are always welcome! Please register a ticket for each person attending.
COVID-Safe Scouting

You should stay home and DO NOT attend Scouts if:

You have an illness (or even mild symptoms) such as fever, cough, sore throat, rash, runny nose or fever even if you feel well. You should arrange to be tested for COVID-19 in keeping with NSW Health guidelines.

Anyone in your home has been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days (excluding health care workers wearing appropriate PPE).

Anyone in your home has been asked to self-quarantine.

You have travelled internationally in the last 14 days.

Anyone in your home is at higher risk of developing infections or are susceptible to infection.
Attendees to any event with signs of illness such as fever, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, etc will be sent home immediately.
Any reported or confirmed case of Coronavirus among attendees, the people you live with, or someone you’ve been in close contact with must be reported immediately to your Leaders.
