We're back with a new portrait photography event — and this one's about painting with light, not just capturing it. You'll spend the session working across two studio setups: STUDIO A - Image Projection An image projection studio, where colour, texture and imagery are cast directly onto the backdrops and model, built for bold, layered, double-exposure-style portraits. Here's the twist: you help build Studio A. Submit three (3) of your own images ahead of time to be used as projection backdrops, and you'll get your own 3-minute solo shoot working with your chosen imagery, live, on the day. STUDIO B - Light Projection A light projection studio, where we shape light and use gobos to project patterns onto the backdrop and models. How it runs: • Wednesday, 16 September, 7:30pm (online) — concept walkthrough, planning, camera gear and settings, and how to prep for your 3 projection images shoot • Sunday, 20 September, 2:00–4:00pm (in-person) — the shoot, at Kindred Cameras, Docklands • Wednesday, 30 September, 7:30pm (online) — recap and group image review (submit your favourites, get feedback) *RE: MODELS - To keep it sustainable, this workshop runs on a tiered structure - 5 x photographers' bookings unlocks 1 x model, 8+ bookings unlocks 2 x models.
