The Late Effects of Polio: Clinical Practise Workshops will facilitate greater awareness of this little understood condition, and increase clinician efficacy to address the care needs of an estimated 400,000 Australians who may now be experiencing the Late Effects of Polio (LEoP) and Post-Polio Syndrome (PPS). Whilst there are many cross-overs in the treatment and management of other chronic diseases and the management of LEoP/PPS, there are also some very significant differences.
