Join us on Saturday 21st October as we see Sake and Wine go head-to-head in a six-course tasting journey with specially curated substantial canapés and grazing plates from local catering team, Rossen & Cook. 

You will hear from Andre Bishop, who was dubbed a ‘Sake Samurai’ in 2013 (yes that is an actual title for people outside Japan that are devoted to and protectors of Sake). Andre also holds SEC Advanced Sake Professional 2008, is a Head Australian Educator, part of the Sake Sommelier Association, is a Dassai Brand Ambassador as well as a Sake Consultant. We are honoured and privileged to have been able to create an event for him!
 
He will guide you through tasting portions of six different Sakes, sharing bites of knowledge along the way regarding techniques, flavour profiles and the history of Sake in Japan.

His competitor, a Margaret River Winemaker who is an Old Bridge Cellars' fan favourite. Dylan Arvidson of LS Merchants will go ‘head-to-head’ with Andre with his suite of exceptional, approachable and downright delicious wines. 

Both experts have been given a sneak peek of the food menu. Their mission: to best pair their produce with each course. You will be the decider...who will win? The Sake Samurai or The Sommelier?

With two sessions available (11.00am - 1.30pm or 3.00pm - 5.30pm), this event is bound to be the perfect way to spend your Saturday. Tickets are $130/head and can be purchased here.
