Hop aboard our tractor trailer and discover life behind the scenes at Caldermeade Farm & Cafe!

Enjoy a guided journey around our modern, fully operational dairy farm where you’ll visit different areas of our grounds, meet our beautiful Jersey cows and calves, and learn what it takes to care for our animals and run a large working dairy farm.

Tour Highlights:

• Meet the Main Herd
Visit our Jersey cow herd and experience them up close. Watch and pat the cows while they enjoy their feed right in front of you, and learn about daily life on the farm.

• Maternity Cow Pen Visit
Meet our expecting cow mothers and learn how our farmers care for them before, during and after calving to keep both mum and baby healthy.

• Calf Shed Experience
Meet and pat our adorable newborn Jersey calves. Learn how dairy farmers care for young calves, including feeding, health checks, and raising the next generation of our herd. Our farmers will also answer your questions about calf care and farm life.

This is a time-sensitive tour and must depart on schedule. Please ensure you are waiting at the "TOUR WAITING AREA" sign at least 10 minutes before your booked tour time.

Our Farm Discovery Ride operates in all weather conditions*. Our tractor trailer is not enclosed, so please dress appropriately and consider the weather when booking.

Children aged 0–3 years old join for free but must remain seated on an adult’s lap throughout the ride.
