General Information
Dear Parents,
1st Balcombe Heights Cubs and Joeys, parents and siblings are invited to climb, swing and reach new heights at the end of term 2 evening at Peak Pursuits, Castle Hill.
Please try and arrive 15 mins early to assist with harnessing to ensure we can start climbing at 6pm.
Activity Plan:
Peak Pursuits offers a creative climbing centre like no other. There is a range of different activities, designed with varying degrees of difficulty and are themed for fun and bring joy and laughter to any age group. These include a
- High ropes course
- Vertical climbing activities
- A giant drop slide
- and many more cool and challenging activities

Parking directions:
Please park in the designated parking spaces located on the ground floor.
Wet Weather:
This event will run in the rain (it will be indoors!).
What to Bring:
Participants are to wear their Scout uniform to and from the event.
You should also bring:
- a water Bottle
- a warm jumper
- comfortable enclosed climbing shoes (joggers or similar)
Parents & Siblings:
Parent helpers and siblings are always welcome! Please register a ticket for each person attending.
Feeling Sick?
Please don't come if you're feeling sick.
Our immuno-compromised youth members are at risk of serious illness if they contract 'simple' viruses or infections.
Regardless, it's not nice to spread your germs with other kids or volunteers.
You should stay home and DO NOT attend Scouts if:
- You have an illness (or even mild symptoms) such as fever, cough, sore throat, rash, or runny nose, even if you think you 'feel fine'.
- You have vomited anytime in the last 24hrs for any reason.
Attendees to any event with signs of illness such as fever, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, etc may be sent home immediately.
