Season dates
- 2/3 May – 22/23 August
- Finals: 29/30 August – 12 September
- Grand Final spare: 19 September
- No play: 6 June, 4 & 11 July
Match times
- Women’s Grade 1: Saturdays, 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm
- Women’s (all other grades): Saturdays, 8.30 am – 1.00 pm
- Men’s: Saturdays, 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm
- Men’s: Sundays, 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm
Format
- Singles and doubles are played each week
Grade structure (2026 update)
- Each grade will have two sections only, compared to four sections in most men’s grades in previous years
- Grade 1 remains one section
Cost
- $70 per player
- Includes entry fee and 21 cans of balls per team (issued to the Team Captain at the start of the season)
Important
- All Pennant players must have a completed Competitive Player Profile (CPP) before nominations close.

- 2 May – 15 August
- Finals: 22 & 29 August
- Grand Final spare: 5 September
- No play: 6 June & 4 July

- Saturdays, 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm

- Unisex singles & doubles
- Doubles-only teams: Men’s, Women’s and Mixed

- $30 per player
- Includes entry fee and 14 cans of balls per team (issued to the Team Captain at the start of the season)

Terms & Conditions
- EMTC Membership
EMTC membership is compulsory. All players must be current members, or become members, prior to the start of the season. - Team Captains
Each team must have a Team Captain responsible for:- Organising player rosters
- Liaising with the Senior Convenor regarding emergency players
- Entering match results
If no one volunteers, the Senior Convenor will appoint a Team Captain.
- Player Availability
Please carefully consider your availability before nominating. Players have a responsibility to their team and the club to play when rostered. Any unavailability must be communicated to your Team Captain as early as possible, particularly once rosters have been finalised. - Code of Behaviour
EMTC is committed to providing a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment that supports the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of all participants.
All players must read and agree to abide by the Tennis Australia Code of Behaviour as a condition of entry. - Association Fines
Teams are expected to reimburse the club for association fines (typically $15–$55) incurred due to:- Team forfeits
- Playing out of nominated order
- Late entry of results
Exemptions may be granted at the discretion of the Senior Convenor.
- Team Selection & Refunds
Teams are selected using the best available information regarding order of merit; however, not all players may be placed in a team. Refunds will be provided in the following circumstances:- A player is not allocated to a team
- A medical condition arises after team submission that prevents participation (e.g. broken arm)
- Club shirts will be refunded if unworn, with tags attached, or if we are unable to supply your size
Note: Refunds will not be provided for a change of mind once teams have been submitted to the relevant association.
