Mentone Lifesaving Club is delighted to host this annual event on the swim calendar in the safety of our sheltered corner of the bay. This is a great opportunity for swimmers who want the challenge of a 'marathon swim' over 10km. We also offer shorter options of 1.2km, 2.5km or 5km.  We also have a Splash 'n' Dash event (separate booking link) for the kids.

There are public shower and change facilities available and the club volunteers provide qualified water safety and first aid personnel to look after our competitors. There is also a kiosk for the much needed coffee as well as a bbq for your free sausage after your swim.

Individual non wetsuit and wetsuit

• 5km open water swim:
Individual non wetsuit and wetsuit

• 2.5km open water swim:
Individual non wetsuit and wetsuit

• 1.2km open water swim(Youth and Open) - note: Youth is 11-17 age group

Tomato Timing will be our official time keepers and Results will be posted on their official
Website. (nb: Lost timing bands will cost swimmer $90).
