Principles of Intimacy explores how intimate moments are created safely, collaboratively, and with care across rehearsal rooms and sets.
Designed for performers, directors, choreographers, educators, stage managers, and screen practitioners, as well as those interested in pursuing future work as intimacy directors or coordinators, this course offers a trauma-informed framework for navigating intimacy with clarity, professionalism, and shared responsibility.

• Risk assessment and safety considerations for intimate, physical, or emotionally charged work
• Approaches to intimacy choreography and physical storytelling that are specific, repeatable, and adaptable
• Current industry standards including modesty garments, documentation, and closed-set practices
