Council staff - Mindfulness Program (Sound Healing)
About
Council’s Health and Wellbeing Committee have arranged a 4-week reformer Pilates and Sound Healing program for staff, to encourage physical activity and healthy habits.Restorative Yoga taps into the parasympathetic nervous system, accessing the body's own healing abilities.
It can help to reduce stress, anxiety and chronic pain and improve sleep. This class is combined with Sound Healing, which affects the vibration of the body on a cellular level, helping to bring the body back to a state of balance and harmony.
To ensure a safe environment for yourself and others, you are responsible for exercising your own judgement to assess whether you can participate in this activity, and to consult with a medical practitioner if you are unsure and follow their recommendations.
