Focus: skills circuits, mini games, teamwork challenges and a fun tournament finish to keep juniors active during the school break

Sample Timetable

9:00 – 9:20 — Welcome, warm up and activation games
9:25 – 10:15 — Skills Circuit 1: passing, catching, evasion drills
10:20 – 11:00 — Mini‑games: small sided game play and decision making
11:00 – 11:20 — Snack and hydration break
11:25 – 12:15 — Skills Circuit 2: kicking basics for older group; footwork and balance for younger group
12:20 – 1:00 — Teamwork challenge: relays and communication games
1:00 – 1:40 — Lunch supervised free play
1:45 – 2:30 — Fun tournament: short rotating matches and finals
2:35 – 3:00 — Cool down, awards and parent debrief; coaches on site until 3:15 PM

FAQ for Parents

Q: What ages can attend?
A: Players U7 through U13. Activities are age appropriate and split into two streams.

Q: What if my child is new to rugby?
A: New players are welcome. Coaches will exclude new players from contact tackle exercises and focus on basic skills and fun games.

Q: Is tackle allowed?
A: Tackle work is included for experienced players. Headgear and mouthguard are mandatory for any player participating in tackle activities. Coaches will supervise and adapt contact work to ability.

Q: Are there toilets and shade at the venue?
A: Yes. Coaches will schedule regular water breaks and shade time.
