About
You are invited to explore texture, shape and form in the art of jewellery making.In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and create your own jewellery pieces using silver, copper or brass — or experiment with combining the metals for a unique design.
All tools and materials are provided.
Together we will explore foundational metalsmithing techniques including forging, stamping, sawing, soldering, shaping, saw piercing and creating experimental textures. We’ll finish by polishing and refining your pieces so you leave with jewellery made entirely by you.
This workshop offers a relaxed introduction to basic silversmithing techniques and the creative process of working with metal.
We’ll begin the afternoon by gathering in the beautiful shed space at The Pocket El Arish, sharing ideas and enjoying a lovely lunch together before moving into the making.
Spaces are limited, so bookings are essential.
