As Mother’s Day approaches, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible mums, nans, aunts, parents, carers and all the wonderful mother figures in our lives. These are the people who show up with love, strength, patience and care, often in ways both big and small, and they help shape the kind of community we are proud to be part of. At River Downs, we know just how important these women and caregivers are, and this raffle is one small way of saying thank you and showing our appreciation for everything they do.We’d love for our community to get involved and help us celebrate. Tickets are limited, so make sure you pre-purchase yours soon. Any remaining tickets will be sold by members of the River Downs Neighbourhood Watch Committee at the entrance to River Downs on Saturday 9 May between 9.00am and 11.00am. Ticket prices are 1 for $4.00, 7 for $11.00, 15 for $22.00, or 30 for $40.00. The raffle draw will take place at 2.00pm on Saturday 9 May, with results posted on the River Downs Facebook page shortly afterwards. Prizes can be collected once the draw has been completed from a local River Downs home until 5.00pm.
