Punk Caterpillar is a small, grass-roots bush school founded in 2021 by Nectar Connector, a qualified generalist primary teacher, PE and yoga teacher, graduate of both The Wild School regenerative leadership program and the Nature Apprentice nature-based leadership program along with being a parent, event organiser and traveler.
With over 20 year experience working with kids in diverse settings along with mentoring on Nature Philosophy's Wild Village camps, Firekeepers Camp, and nature based gatherings across Victoria and NSW Nectar brings a deep passion for connection with place, the elements, ceremony, food and FUN. She weaves play, games, bushcraft, wandering and freedom into a vibrant learning and connection space where children can explore, belong and thrive.
Alongside a rotating crew of passionate mentors offering diverse skills and creative experiences, Punk Caterpillar creates a nourishing space for curiosity, confidence and connection to one another, oneself and the natural world.
We have Summer Sessions running to round out the year, we'd love to have your wildlings along!

Afternoons of play, fire, creative craft, games and gentle bush exploration, a beautiful connective way to finish the school year.
Evenings of fire-cooking, bushcraft, carving, games, story, and dusk adventures support by our sweet mentors.
