View planets, stars, and deep sky objects through telescopes. 1 telescope for every 6 people to help avoid queues.
Laser guided tour of the sky pointing out the stars and constellations.
Optional extra of taking a photo through the telescope with your Canon or Nikon DSLR Camera, Sony mirrorless, or bring an SD card to use our camera of a colourful nebula or the Moon. Cost is $10 per photo.
Duration 75 minutes.
Group Size up to 55 people
You must be able stand at least briefly to view through at telescope and sometimes a step or two up a ladder.
Outdoors activity, dress accordingly.
How much we see through a telescope depends on the Moon phase. During brighter moon phases, some stars and deep sky objects become less visible, but the Moon is great to view.
How much we see also depends on the amount of cloud cover. We recommend you book on the day when weather forecasts are more reliable.
Before you purchase a ticket, CHECK the Event Terms and Conditions for options on cloudy & rainy nights or go to our website https://dubboobservatory.com/bookings/night-sky-telescope/
