SuperGrom session - East Coast Classic
About
Designed for young surfers under 12, this session is all about building confidence in the ocean, making new friends and having fun in a safe, supportive environment. No surfing experience is necessary. Whether your child is stepping onto a surfboard for the very first time or already catching waves, everyone is welcome.The 2 hour session will include on-beach coaching, ocean safety education, surf instruction and plenty of fun with other young surfers. Surfboards and safety equipment will be provided.
Participants are asked to bring their own wetsuit. If you do not have a wetsuit, please contact Ellie on 0400 023 454 prior to the event to organise.
Please note that all participants must be current members of their local Boardriders Club for insurance purposes. Check out the surfing Tasmania website for your local club. If your child is not currently a member, please get in touch and we can help direct you to the appropriate club.
Places are strictly limited to ensure a quality coaching experience for all participants.
The exact location and start time will be confirmed closer to the event once swell and weather conditions have been assessed. The session will be held within the Scamander region on either Saturday 6 June or Sunday 7 June as part of the East Coast Classic weekend.
