Join our RDNHW Melbourne Cup Community Sweeps for a fun, easy and affordable way to be part of the day while helping support local community safety, awareness and neighbourhood activities.
Whether you are chasing the big-ticket thrill, joining in for a casual flutter, or just want a low-cost way to be part of the fun, there is a sweep option for you.
Choose from:
$20 Titanium Sweep
$10 Gold Sweep
$5 Silver Sweep
$2 Bronze Sweep
Each sweep has 24 entries. One ticket gives you one randomly allocated horse in the Melbourne Cup. If your horse runs into one of the advertised prize places, you win the prize for that sweep.
Simple, fun, and no racing knowledge required.
You do not need to study form guides, pretend to understand track conditions, or suddenly become an expert in barrier draws. Just pick your sweep, grab your ticket, and we will randomly allocate your horse once the final Melbourne Cup field is confirmed.
Every ticket helps support RDNHW community activities.
How it works:
Buy your ticket in your chosen sweep.
Each sweep is capped at 24 entries.
After the final Melbourne Cup field is confirmed, each ticket will be randomly allocated one horse.
Horse allocations will be recorded and witnessed.
Winners are decided by the official Melbourne Cup finishing result.
Prizes apply separately to each sweep.
The sweep groups are:
Sweep A - $20 Titanium Sweep
Sweeps B to E - $10 Gold Sweeps
Sweeps F to H - $5 Silver Sweeps
Sweeps I to L - $2 Bronze Sweeps
Each sweep is separate. A ticket in one sweep only gives you a chance to win prizes in that sweep.
Prize categories may include:
1st place
2nd place
3rd place
Last place
Prize details will be clearly advertised for each sweep.
Tickets are limited, and once each 24-entry sweep is full, that sweep is closed. Additional sweeps will only be available if they are part of the approved RDNHW sweep structure.

Entrants must be 18 years or over.
Scratchings are all-in.
No refunds for change of mind.
