Where horsemanship begins.A girls-only introductory clinic designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to begin your horsemanship journey. Whether you've never touched a horse before or you're looking to strengthen your understanding, this clinic is the perfect place to start.
Together, we'll explore the three core pillars of horsemanship:
The Mind
Discover how your thoughts, emotions, confidence, and energy influence every interaction with the horse. Before we can lead the horse, we must first learn to lead ourselves.
The Method
Learn the foundations of equine psychology and learning theory to better understand how horses think, why they behave the way they do, and how they learn. You'll discover ethical training methods that help shape behaviour, build trust, and create clear communication with your horse.
The Movement
Develop an understanding of equine body language, communication, and timing. Learn how to recognize what the horse is telling you through its movements and how horse and rider work together to create harmony both on the ground and in the saddle.
This clinic combines engaging theory with hands-on practical horse handling, allowing you to see each concept demonstrated before putting it into practice in a supportive and welcoming environment.

- This is not a ridden class.
- This is the first step in the Sisters of the Saddle Foundation Pathway and is followed by Behind the Reins: Building the Journey and Taking the Lead: Basics in Motion.
