Steps to get started

Step 1 - Connect TryBooking with Xero

Get started by navigating to “Integration tools” then “Xero integration” within the TryBooking portal. Click “Connect to Xero” to start.

When a popup appears “TryBooking would like to access yo your Xero data.” Click Allow Access within Xero

Step 2 - Select Xero Accounts and Tracking Codes

We recommend setting TryBooking up as a bank account. This way your TryBooking balance should match the bank account within Xero. Select the bank account you wish to send transactions to.

Step 3 - Select Xero Accounts and Tracking Codes

Minimum requirement is to select a Xero account for Ticket Sales and the TryBooking fees. If you use Donations, Gift Certificates or Promo codes we recommend you also select accounts here to ensure postings are successful. Note tracking codes can be also setup at the ticket level if you do not wish to use the default for certain events or ticket types.

Step 4 - Click Save and start receiving transactions.

The integration is now live, TryBooking’s Xero integration is one way, immediately posting your ticket sales, refunds, gift certificates purchases and redemptions to Xero. For more information, check out our learning centre article.
