Common questions about integrations
No. Connecting Xero to TryBooking is included at no extra charge. For Stripe, you’ll pay a 75p TryBooking fee plus Stripe's own processing fee (1.5% + 20p per transaction) instead of TryBooking's standard 5% processing rate.
It’s a one-way sync from TryBooking to Xero. When a ticket is sold, refunded, or a donation is made, the transaction is automatically posted to your chosen Xero bank account with the tracking codes you’ve configured. You set it up once and it runs in the background.
Yes. You can switch to Stripe in your account dashboard under Banking > Payment Gateway. Once connected, all ticket payments will be processed through Stripe and deposited directly into your linked bank account.
Through Stripe, your attendees can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other major card types. Note that PayPal is only available through TryBooking’s standard payment gateway, not through Stripe.
Absolutely. All integrations use encrypted connections and are fully PCI-compliant. Stripe hosts UK data within the UK for full regulatory compliance. Your financial data is protected with industry-standard security protocols at every step.
Yes, you can disconnect at any time from your TryBooking dashboard. Any data already synced will remain in the connected platform, but no new transactions will be sent.
We’re always exploring new ways to make event management easier. If there’s a tool you’d love to see connected to TryBooking, let our team know – we’d love to hear from you.
