"It Takes A Village" Grandparents and Carers - IN PERSON
Between Monday 8 June 2026 and Thursday 17 September 2026
This two-hour IN-PERSON session is available to soon-to-be grandparents or carers within your postpartum support system. It covers the latest information on infant care best practice, challenges for new parents and the role of grandparents.
This workshop must also be attended by the pregnant woman booked in to King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Preparing for Birth and Baby course - IN PERSON
Between Saturday 13 June 2026 and Saturday 26 September 2026
This IN PERSON course is run over 3 consecutive Saturday's and includes labour & birth, working with pain, the postnatal period, feeding and care of the newborn. This course is taught by experienced and knowledgeable midwives. Women's and Newborn Health Service offers this free* Parent Education course to pregnant people who are birthing at King Edward Memorial Hospital or Osborne Park Hospital.

This two-hour IN-PERSON class is presented by experienced Clinical Midwives and covers the preparation and excitement of adding another addition to your family. We help you plan and prepare for labour, birth, infant feeding, sleeping and introducing baby to your other children.
