This 2-part LIVE ONLINE course for first time parents includes labour and birth, working with pain and the immediate postnatal period. This course is taught by experienced and knowledgeable midwives. Second baby and beyond! - ONLINE
Between Wednesday 24 September 2025 and Wednesday 7 January 2026
This two-hour ONLINE class is presented by experienced Clinical Midwives and covers the preparation and excitement of adding another addition to your family. We help you plan and prepare for labour, birth, infant feeding, sleeping and introducing baby to your other children.
Planning a Positive Caesarean - IN PERSON
Between Thursday 25 September 2025 and Thursday 8 January 2026
One 2-hour IN-PERSON workshop within a small group setting. This class is for anyone having a planned caesarean birth at King Edward Memorial Hospital, taught by experienced and knowledgeable midwives.

Between Saturday 27 September 2025 and Saturday 24 January 2026
This IN PERSON course is run over 2 consecutive Saturday's and includes labour & birth, working with pain, the postnatal period, feeding and care of the newborn. This course is taught by experienced and knowledgeable midwives. Women's and Newborn Health Service offers this free* Parent Education course to pregnant people who are birthing at King Edward Memorial Hospital or Osborne Park Hospital.

"It Takes A Village" Grandparents and Carers - IN PERSON
Between Monday 6 October 2025 and Monday 12 January 2026
This two-hour IN-PERSON session is available to soon-to-be grandparents or carers within your postpartum support system. It covers the latest information on infant care best practice, challenges for new parents and the role of grandparents.
This workshop must also be attended by the pregnant woman booked in to King Edward Memorial Hospital.
