One 2-hour IN-PERSON workshop within a small group setting. This class is for anyone having a planned caesarean birth at King Edward Memorial Hospital, taught by experienced and knowledgeable midwives.

Preparing for Birth and Baby course - IN PERSON
Between Saturday 6 December 2025 and Saturday 4 April 2026
This IN PERSON course is run over 2 consecutive Saturday's and includes labour & birth, working with pain, the postnatal period, feeding and care of the newborn. This course is taught by experienced and knowledgeable midwives. Women's and Newborn Health Service offers this free* Parent Education course to pregnant people who are birthing at King Edward Memorial Hospital or Osborne Park Hospital.

"It Takes A Village" Grandparents and Carers - IN PERSON
Between Monday 8 December 2025 and Monday 23 March 2026
This two-hour IN-PERSON session is available to soon-to-be grandparents or carers within your postpartum support system. It covers the latest information on infant care best practice, challenges for new parents and the role of grandparents.
This workshop must also be attended by the pregnant woman booked in to King Edward Memorial Hospital.
