I have a question about my booking

If you've got a question about your booking, you'll need to get in touch with the event organiser. You can contact the event organiser through the 'Contact Event Organiser' button on your booking confirmation email.

TryBooking is not involved with running or management of the event, we're simply the platform the event organiser has chosen to sell their tickets through. With this in mind, we aren't able to make comment on the particulars relating to an event or venue outside of what is stated on the TryBooking event itself.

I've not received my tickets

Your tickets should arrive to your email inbox within minutes of booking.

If you don't receive the email, please check your junk / spam folders and double check that you are logged into the correct email account.

I can't find my tickets

It happens, don't worry! Simply go to the find tickets page and re-enter your email address and we'll email your tickets to you again.

Can TryBooking make any changes to my booking?

No, only the event organiser can make changes to your booking according to their terms and conditions.

Why is 'TryBooking' on my credit card statement?

TryBooking is a online booking service used by many organisations such as schools, community groups, theatres, professional organisations and charities across the UK.

If TryBooking appears on your credit card statement it will be because you, or sometimes a family member, have booked or registered to attend an event through our system.

If you're unable to identify the transaction, you can use our secure Find Transaction page which will identify which event you've purchased tickets for.

Is there a tax invoice for my booking?

If the event organiser has chosen to enable a tax invoice, the receipt provided will be converted to a Tax Invoice stipulating VAT. This invoice is accessible via the confirmation email provided on booking.

If you have not received a tax invoice after completing a booking and you require one, please contact the event organiser and request a detailed tax invoice.

Do I need to create an account to buy tickets?

Testimonials also act as a way for you to advertise yourselves at no cost on the TryBooking website.

Another way you can assist us is through spreading the word about TryBooking. Whenever you mention us to family or friends it helps to increase TryBooking's profile. What methods of payment does TryBooking accept?

TryBooking accepts a variety of payment options, including credit and debit cards.

The following payment methods are available:

  • Visa credit and debit cards
  • Mastercard credit and debit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • PayPal

Event organisers can also provide gift certificates for purchase, which can be used against any event hosted on their account.

Event organisers may also choose to accept payment via cash or cheque - however, it takes a few extra steps to record these payments in TryBooking. This will ensure you gather data on all attendees, that you don't oversell your event, and allows you to present all payments in one report.

When can I access funds?

Once your bank account has been verified in your TryBooking account, the account holder or finance user will be able to request a funds transfer.

While you can withdraw funds from your TryBooking account at any time after verifying your bank details, we strongly recommend that you wait until after the event has taken place.

This will not only make balancing accounts easier, but it also allows for ease of refunding should your event cancel or be postponed unexpectedly. All refunds should be completed using TryBooking so that there is a clear audit trail of the purchases and refunds in your account. This is required if the transaction is queried for chargebacks.

We understand that there may be occasions where you need to withdraw funds prior to the event taking place. We may perform additional checks prior to transferring funds if this is the case, and our finance team may get in touch to verify details about your event. Please keep this in mind should you be needing the funds to pay suppliers by a particular date.

We may also request documentation to verify your identity prior to processing your transfer request.
