Hollywood Studio of Performing Arts is a Dance and Performing Arts Studio based in Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancashire.

Background

Before Trybooking, Holly spent countless hours sorting registrations, collecting data, selling tickets and chasing payments and less time doing what she loves.

She needed a solution that would work quietly in the background and enable her to focus on teaching.

She came to Trybooking and found everything she was looking for and more.

“TryBooking has been the best experience for selling tickets that we have tried”, Holly explains, “it’s so simple to use and easy to operate”.

How Hollywood Studio benefit from Trybooking:

They now have a new virtual staff member that works 24/7, collecting registration details and payments.

TryBooking can collect all the information needed about her students, including medication information and emergency contact details which she can then download into Excel spreadsheets.

Holly also uses TryBooking for Performances and Shows. Tickets for all shows can be purchased online and parents and guests select and pay for their seats at the time of booking.

Trybooking’s real time reports allow Holly to keep track of event revenue, ticket sales and print door lists to check guests in on the night. Her Seating Plans are designed to work with her venue and ensure guests have a good view of the performance.

“Our parents enjoyed the experience of purchasing tickets, and we think we sold more tickets using this system than we did before when we were just selling them ourselves - in a lot less time too. Once tickets went live, we didn't have to do anything but watch it all happen - and that was very exciting!” explains Holly.

At a Christmas performance they also sold DVDs and commemorative T-shirts.

Using the Data Collection feature to enable guests to select their chosen T-shirt including which colour and size, all at the same time as booking their seats.

T-shirts were ordered and paid for well in advance, so guests could collect them on the night.
